PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1771-NIV is an isolated analog input module for the PLC-5 control platform. This module features eight input channels designed for high-resolution measurement of voltage and current process signals. It provides 16-bit analog-to-digital conversion resolution across all configured input channels. The hardware installs into standard 1771 I/O chassis assemblies.
Each channel supports voltage inputs of plus or minus 5 volts DC. Current inputs of plus or minus 20 milliamperes require specific remote termination panels. Data values transfer to the processor in natural binary or binary coded decimal format. The assembly connects to field wiring using a removable 1771-WH wiring arm.
