PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1771-P2 is an auxiliary power supply designed for the PLC-5 system architecture. It mounts directly into two slots of a standard 1771 chassis. The unit provides regulated 5.1V DC backplane power with a maximum output current rating of 6.5 A. It is factory-configured for 120V AC operation but supports selectable 220-240V AC lines.
This module provides electrical distribution to backplane components including communication adapters and Mini-PLC processors. Internal protection monitors against overvoltage, overcurrent, and undervoltage conditions. If a fault occurs, the internal circuitry automatically shuts down power output. Slow-blow fuse protection guards the input stage against excessive current draw during operation.
