PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1761-NET-DNI is a MicroLogix DeviceNet Interface. This standalone device converts between DeviceNet and DF1 full-duplex protocols. It enables connected DF1 controllers to exchange messaging and process data across a DeviceNet network. The interface communicates using peer-to-peer messaging and DeviceNet slave modes. It handles explicit messaging along with regular master and slave input-output exchanges. Internal isolation between communication paths is rated at 500 Volts DC.
The module accepts an input supply voltage between 11 and 25 Volts DC. It mounts directly onto a standard DIN rail or panel surface in horizontal or vertical orientations. Compatible hosts include MicroLogix controllers, SLC 5/03 or higher processors, PLC-5 units, and industrial operator interfaces. The unit provides one DeviceNet connection point and one isolated RS-232 communication port. Its physical open-type construction requires installation inside an appropriate protective enclosure.
