PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1771-OGD is a 16-point TTL output module for the PLC-5 platform. It mounts directly into a single slot of an Allen-Bradley 1771 Series B I/O chassis. The module features a logic switch for selecting between High = True and Low = True operations. Output voltage ranges from 2 to 5.25V DC ON and -0.2 to 0.8V DC OFF. The module provides 1mA sourcing current and 20mA sinking current per output.
External customer power requires 5V DC with less than 50mV peak-to-peak ripple for signal transmission. This external power source must supply up to 310mA maximum current to the module. The unit draws up to 230mA backplane current from the 1771 I/O chassis. Internal circuitry delivers 1500V AC RMS galvanic isolation between field wiring and the backplane. Output circuits include individual protection with a 0.5A, 250V normal blow fuse. Operating temperature ranges from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius with conformal circuit coating.
