Product Overview
The General Electric IC694ALG221 is an analog Input Module for PACSystems RX3i control systems. This module provides four analog current input channels for process measurement applications. It accepts standard industrial current input signals across 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA ranges. Internal analog-to-digital converter circuitry converts incoming analog current signals into 12-bit digital values. These digitized values are read by the host controller for user logic execution.
Each input channel updates every 2 milliseconds and is factory calibrated for 4 microamps per count. The module provides an absolute accuracy of 0.1 percent full scale plus 0.1 percent reading. Optical isolation delivers 250 VAC continuous and 1500 VAC one-minute isolation between field wiring and backplane. A front-panel green Module OK LED illuminates when the module receives operating power.
