Product Overview
The General Electric IS220PAICH1B is an Analog I/O pack for Mark VI / Mark VIe control platforms. This unit provides the electrical interface between dual Ethernet networks and an analog input terminal board. The pack includes a BPPx processor board and an analog acquisition board. Channels 1 through 8 accept voltage or 4-20 mA current signals. Channels 9 and 10 accept plus or minus 1 mA or 4-20 mA inputs.
Two 0-20 mA analog outputs provide 18 V compliance in simplex or triple modular redundant architectures. A 16-bit analog-to-digital converter processes all ten input signals. A passive low-pass pole filter provides input signal conditioning at 75.15 Hz. A mechanical suicide relay disconnects a faulted output to prevent interference in triple modular redundant configurations. Normal scan time is 5 ms, representing a 200 Hz scan rate. Typical power consumption is 5.3 W, reaching a maximum of 6.2 W.
