PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The General Electric IC200MDL243 is a VersaMax discrete digital input module. This unit accepts AC signals from field devices and returns them on a single common. The hardware processes two-state discrete inputs into 16 bits of input data. Signals are handled by a host VersaMax CPU or Network Interface Module. The modular unit installs into a snap-in carrier base on the backplane. The assembly supports hot insertion and removal during maintenance procedures.
Each of the 16 input channels provides 250 Volts AC continuous isolation to adjacent points. There is also 250 Volts AC continuous isolation between the module and ground. The module operates with a nominal rating of 120 Volts AC. Its acceptable input voltage range spans from 0 to 132 Volts AC. The on-state operating range extends from 70 to 132 Volts AC. Operating power is drawn directly from the backplane without external power supplies. The device consumes 100 milliamps of maximum backplane current at 5.0 Volts. The minimum possible load is 5.0 milliamps per point.
