PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1771-OM is an eight-output PLC-5 Digital Output Module designed for 1771 I/O chassis installations. It features eight fused AC Triac outputs operating across a voltage range of 184 to 250 Volts AC. The supported operational line frequency spans from 47 to 63 Hertz. Each individual output handles up to 2 Amperes of continuous current. The combined continuous current across the entire module must not exceed 6 Amperes.
The module draws 225 milliamperes of backplane current at 5 Volts DC from the chassis backplane. Outputs require a minimum load current of 60 milliamperes at 220 Volts AC to remain conducting. At 220 Volts AC, maximum off-state leakage current is 2 milliamperes per output. Thermal dissipation reaches 45.1 BTU per hour, with total module power dissipation rated at 13.2 Watts. The internal module circuitry consists of 14 AWG stranded wire with 3/64-inch thick insulation.
