PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1746-NI16V is an SLC 500 I/O Module designed for voltage signal acquisition. It provides sixteen input channels compatible with bipolar and unipolar DC voltage ranges. Supported electrical inputs include plus or minus 10V DC, 1 to 5V DC, and 0 to 10V DC. It uses a Sigma-Delta conversion type and delivers 16-bit resolution across all channels.
The module communicates with the SLC 500 processor using a parallel rear-facing backplane interface. It draws 125 milliamps at 5V DC and 75 milliamps at 24V DC backplane current. Total backplane power consumption reaches 2.425 Watts maximum under full load conditions. Field wiring connects via a replaceable 1746-RT25G terminal block or pre-wired cable assemblies. Operating temperature ranges from -25 to 60 degrees Celsius without condensation.
