PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The General Electric IC694DNM200 is a DeviceNet Master Module designed for the PACSystems RX3i controller platform. It connects a host RX3i central processing unit to distributed devices over a standard DeviceNet fieldbus network. This communication module mounts in a universal baseplate and draws operating power directly from the backplane. The module can control up to 63 DeviceNet slave devices across trunkline or dropline topologies. It handles maximum data throughput of 3972 bytes of input and 3972 bytes of output.
This module supports configurable communication rates of 125k, 250k, and 500k baud. Each configured slave station exchanges up to 255 bytes of input data and 255 bytes of output data. Supported connection types include Polled, Cyclic, Strobe, and Change of State messaging. It also accommodates Unconnected Message Manager operations with one proxy connection per slave. The hardware features a dedicated DeviceNet terminal port alongside an RS232 service port for firmware maintenance.
