Product Overview
The General Electric IS420YAICS1B is an Analog I/O Pack designed for the Mark VI / Mark VIe series. It interfaces between up to two Ethernet networks and an associated analog terminal board. Data transmits and receives through dual RJ45 Ethernet connectors. The pack handles up to ten analog input channels. Two channels support plus or minus 1 mA or 4-20 mA current inputs. The remaining eight channels accept voltage or 4-20 mA current loops. Supported voltage inputs include plus or minus 5 V or 10 V.
The assembly consists of a common BPPC processor board and a data acquisition board. Diagnostic fault detection is handled solely through the data acquisition board. The unit operates in simplex or Triple Modular Redundant configurations. Dual redundancy applications are not supported. Compatible terminal boards include the TBAISIC and STAIS2A models. Power-up self-tests check flash memory, RAM, processor hardware, and Ethernet ports. The pack also continuously monitors internal power supplies.
