PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
General Electric IS200EPSMG1A is an exciter power supply module designed for Mark VI / Mark VIe control platforms. The module operates inside EX2100 excitation control systems. It accepts a nominal 125 V dc input from the exciter power distribution module. A buck-regulator stage converts this incoming supply to an intermediate 50 V dc rail. A push-pull inverter converts that rail into multiple regulated output voltages for the control electronics. The inverter transformer provides high-voltage isolation between input and output circuits.
The IS200EPSMG1A mounts directly into the exciter power backplane inside the control cabinet. It delivers +5 V dc, 15 V dc, and 24 V dc to the assembly backplane. It also supplies isolated +70 V dc wetting voltage for field terminal boards. The module drives cabinet fans, crowbar circuits, de-excitation hardware, and ground detectors. Triplex M1, M2, and C controllers each use an independent module for isolated operation.
