PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1746-BAS is an SLC BASIC Module designed for the SLC 500 hardware family. It occupies one slot in modular or fixed style chassis systems. The module handles 8 input words and 8 output words with SLC 5/01 or higher processors. It features 24 KB of battery-backed RAM to execute user BASIC programs and preserve data.
This unit interfaces with printers, modems, Human Machine Interface units, and operator interface terminals. Serial communication is handled via PRT1 and PRT2 at speeds reaching 19200 Baud in full duplex mode. It also includes a DH-485 network communication terminal. The hardware includes a real-time clock, a calendar, a text editor, and eight diagnostic LED indicators.
