PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1794-ADN is a 24 VDC communication interface adapter for the FLEX I/O system. It interfaces a DeviceNet network to up to eight terminal base units. The module occupies the leftmost position on the mounting rail. It delivers up to 640 mA of 5 VDC power directly to the FlexBus backplane. Diagnostic indicators display module status, network communication health, and input/output operational states.
This adapter operates across communication rates of 125 kbps, 250 kbps, and 500 kbps. Network node addresses range from 00 to 63 via onboard push-button switches. The unit accepts a 24 VDC nominal external power supply with an operating range from 19.2 to 31.2 VDC. It mounts directly onto standard DIN rails or flat panel surfaces in an open enclosure.
