Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley MVI69-PDPMV1 is a CompactLogix PROFIBUS DP-V1 Master Network Interface Module. Designed by Prosoft Technology under the inRAx line, it provides fieldbus connectivity for Rockwell Automation architectures. The module installs directly into a single 1769 backplane slot. The host processor recognizes the module as a standard input/output module. Data exchange between the processor memory and module occurs via Ladder Logic routines. A sample ladder file supports implementation. It connects up to 125 PROFIBUS slave devices across industrial networks.
The interface module manages up to 1536 bytes of cyclic input data and 1536 bytes of output data. It supports extended diagnostic information and handles transmission speeds up to 12 Mbps.
