Product Overview
The General Electric IC693MDL753 is a 32-point positive logic Digital I/O for Series 90-30 systems. It operates over a voltage range of 10.2 to 28.8 VDC. The nominal output voltage is 12 to 24 VDC. Field circuits are arranged into four groups of eight points each. Output circuits switch loads on the positive side of the power supply. The module draws 260 mA of current from the 5 VDC backplane.
Each output point handles up to 0.5 A of continuous current. A single group delivers a maximum of 4 A. The group common pin carries up to 3 A. Maximum inrush current reaches 5.4 A. Opto-couplers provide isolation between field circuits and the logic side. When the host CPU stops execution, all module outputs switch to the OFF state.
