PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Woodward 8440-1809 is an easYgen series operator panel designed for generator control applications. This unit supports multiple system alarm classes designated from class A through class F. Alarm class A and class B maintain their dedicated status during operation. Configured alarm classes C, D, E, and F resolve into class B alarms. The hardware features an input resistance of approximately 6.7 kΩ.
Operators can configure the 8440-1809 panel for testing either with load or without load. Testing with load initiates operation in automatic mode without displaying special alert messages. If the mains supply fails during starting, the unit continues running. Operation persists until mains power returns and the programmed settling time expires. Power consumption for the operator panel remains under 0.15 W.
