PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1771-TCM is a PLC-5 Temperature Control Module - TC. It provides eight individually isolated Proportional Integral Derivative loops. Each channel controls a temperature loop in manual or automatic mode. The module accepts millivolt signals and multiple thermocouple sensor types directly.
This single-slot unit operates directly within a 1771 I/O chassis. It draws 1.5 Amperes of backplane current without requiring external power. Signal conversion uses a natural binary sixteen-bit integer data format. A six-pole low pass hardware filter attenuates electrical noise on each input.
