PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product Overview
General Electric IC694CHS392 is a 10-slot serial expansion backplane designed for the PACSystems RX3i platform. This unit permits the installation of additional discrete, analog, and special-function modules. It connects to a CPU backplane using an expansion cable such as part number IC693CBL302. Up to seven serial expansion baseplates can link to the CPU rack.
The leftmost slot hosts a dedicated serial expansion power supply module. Compatible options include IC694PWR321, IC694PWR330, and IC694PWR331 power supplies. A dedicated DIP switch sets the rack address number before installing any modules. The unit supports panel mounting or standard 19-inch rack mounting using optional adapter brackets.
